The MTI standard is the official certification of the State of Israel for drinking water quality. A filter that meets the standard is tested in a laboratory for compliance with safety requirements, pollutant reduction, and filtration efficiency. H301 received the certification — this is objective proof that it does the job.

NSF is an international standards organization. Material Inside certification ensures that every material inside the filter that comes into contact with water is safe to drink and meets international health standards.

Both filters are based on granular activated carbon (GAC) with MTI + NSF approval. H301 fits Premium and Elegant models, up to 1,000 liters, ₪189. H401 fits Premium models (Spirit+, Mehadrin and Lumina), with a longer replacement cycle of 9–12 months, ₪490.

An original HDS filter, such as the H301, undergoes full quality control, is tested in laboratories approved by the Israeli Water and Sanitation Authority (MITA) and NSF, and is manufactured with filter materials approved for use with drinking water. Compatible generic filters often do not carry Israeli or international standards, can contain materials that are not suitable for contact with drinking water, and may damage the water flow and the functioning of the device. In addition, using a non-original filter may void the manufacturer's warranty on the water bar.
